Assyria The Forgotten Nation In Prophecy
In this book, you will discover many biblical and historical surprises about Assyria: Assyrians live throughout the world and are not Arabs or Moslems... they are Assyrians and Christians. Jesus grew up with Assyrians in Galilee. Jesus spoke and preached in the Assyrian language (Aramaic). The Assyrians were the first nation of people to accept Christ. Assyrians carried the message of Christ into the remote corners of the world, such as Tibet, China, Japan, Indonesia, and India!

It is necessarily to mention here that the author maintained accuracy and honesty in my translation to keep this big piece of evidence of the brutality of then Turkish Ottoman authorities and their followers intact.

The Assyrian Tragedy, "Livre anonyme, 1934 fevrier Annemasse", is a rare documentary on the national struggle of the Assyrian nation prior, during and after World War I.  We believe the author of the book was Mar Eshai Shimun XXIII, a Cambridge University graduate and Patriarch of the Church of the East.  Most of the material contained in the book were his personal letters to the various heads of governments and organizations, including their replies to the letters.  ATOUR

The inhabitants of Turabdin impress me most of all by their originality and simplicity, by their attachment to their native soil, by their fortitude in difficult times, by their selfconfidence and lack of pretentiousness. In daily life they use the language spoken by Jesus, an Aramaic dialect which is now known as Turoyo. This makes them the bearers of an uninterrupted tradition from the beginnings of Christianity until the present day...

It is my sincere wish that this book should not only be a documentation of the past and the present, but should also be a signpost to a better future!
